This is a very enlightening video which my father send me on whatapp.

How true, its all these set backs, failures betrayals that help us grow stronger and value more the people we have and the things we earned.

Yes falling is very important and someone once said, “sooner in life you reach the zero state better for you.” I am glad for all the downfalls and the injustices cause that has helped me value my upbringing, my family and the security that I have managed to get from those who really matter. Rest of it dosnt matter at all..😊

Since this whatsspp was send to me by my papa, also sharing a recipe I cooked for him when he came over  for dinner at our house.

RECIPE: MIXED VEGETABLE CURRY

Recipe inspired by Geeta Patel

This dish is a good idea on the day you have got the vegetables from the market

Ingredients: 

(Serves 4)

4 cups of mixed vegetables cut into cubes and par boiled (potatoes, corn kennels, french beans, peas, carrots, cauliflower, mushrooms)

1 cup tomato puree

1 tomato 

2 onions 

7-8 garlic cloves 

1 inch ginger piece 

1 cup milk

1 bay leaf

3-4 tsp garam masala

2 tsp red chilli powder 

1 tsp turmeric powder

2 tsp sugar

2 tbsp dried kasuri methi 

2 tbsp oil

METHOD:

In a food processor put the onions, tomato, ginger garlic and grind in a paste, keep it on the side.

Heat the oil, add the bay leaf then add the paste. Fry it in the oil for 5-7 minute or till the paste is cooked well and it separates its oil. 

Add the red chili powder, turmeric, garam masala and cook for 2 minutes.

Now all the tomato puree, milk, mixed vegetables, kasuri methi, sugar, salt and 1 cup of water.

Cover and cook for 10-15 mintues till all the  vegetables are cooked and the gravy is mixed with the spices. 

Serve hot with rice, roti or paratha.
