When my baby is fast asleep, he looks so adorable.. babies look more adorable when they are sleeping? or because he is sleeping and I am getting a breather, hence he is more adorable to me? Or because I get to think about him in peace, from the running around when he is up? When my son sleeps,in my heart I am so thankful to him as I get a well deserved break and I can do all my pending things including sleeping :-). Yes how much we love our little ones, sometimes can’t wait from them to sleep…
Last week my son slept off early, wow! me and my husband Sid got to spend quality time. I asked my husband what he wanted to eat for dinner? He said something simple…I decided to make this simplest spaghetti I knew, Brusettas, and mushroom crostini, super simple not much time consuming…

For the spaghetti I used garlic & oregano flavoured olive oil, garlic finely chopped, fresh basil finely chopped, chilli flakes, Parmesan cheese and garlic oil (made by my mum for her pizza toppings)..quick and simple..I did not know this recipe is called Aglio olio, till my sister Ipshita, a masterchef Australia fan told me so…thanks for the info..

I can never slice bread well, this well sliced breads in the picture iis curtesy Narsing, our help…he sliced them for me before leaving for his day off..thanks for that..Narsing… . I had had seen this mushroom crostini’s recipe on a TV show by David Rocco, it takes 5 minutes to cook..
RECIPE : MUSHROOM CROSTINI
Ingredients:
( serves 3)
1 packet mushrooms chopped in small pieces
6 cloves of garlic finely chopped
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp cream parsley finely chopped
crushed black pepper
chilli flakes
french bread sliced
Method:
Heat the olive oil, add garlic, parsley, chilli flakes, mushrooms. Cook till the water in the mushrooms evaporates and the mushrooms are cooked. This will take around 5 minutes. Add the cream, black pepper and salt. Take it off the heat and let it cool.
To serve:
Toast the bread slices, lay the mushroom mixture on them and serve immediately.
