I have been an admirer of European fashion. Just sitting on a bench and observing in any city in Europe is a fashion lesson for me. The general idea of fashion is Europe is simplistic, classy but very stylish. I learnt from my years of living and visiting that less is more. Highlight one thing in the wardrobe, cuts and fits are most important, tailoring should be perfect. Clean looks are the way Europeans dress themselves and I have learnt lots by following European fashion designers. Europeans taught me that a plain black shirt can look stylish if the fit is that which suits your body type and worn with the right clothes and accessories.. I love them for their sense of style and aesthetics..
I was following Madrid fashion week, I was so impressed by all the Spanish designers, mentioning few in this post…
JUAN VIDAL :
Feminine prints, simple cuts, big floral prints and mixing of floral and geometric prints….
straight cuts, use of gold silver bronze fabric with a sheen but not loud.
use of colours of the same family, single color jumpsuits, single color top and bottom, use of textured pastel fabric
ANNA LOCKING :
white maxi dresses, fun multicolour pieces.
I just can’t take my eyes off these pieces..most of them are on my wish list rest…rest I want to use to see them on fashion magazine covers…
I have covered four designers in this post…more to come….
