In April 2013, I visited Udaipur, the city of lakes. I am very fond of this city for the historic vibes it gives. During the same time I was working on a project about my grandfather Pannalal Patel’s life. Pannalal Patel is a national award wining Gujarati Novelist.
When I was roaming in the city, these places took me to my grandfathers era during which he had written his autobiography, ” Jeevan Sanjeevni.”
I started imagining his stories through my lens, maybe the times he grew up in looked like these black and white images….
i wish he was here with me to answer my questions about his life but since he is not there I can only imagine …
This is my tribute to the era between 1930’s to 1960’s when his stories were based on…
