After a disappointing last Sunday we were still having a strong craving for South Indian food, me and my husband Sid, decided to go and have lunch at Dakshinayan restaurant in Ahmedabad.
A Jhakaas lunch
basic South Indian food ..they stick to the formula
nice soft steaming idlis,crispy from outside and soft from inside vaddas
crispy dosas, well flavoured sambhar.
they give 3 chutneys as accompaniments onion chutney, coconut chutney and tomato chutney.





the staff is very smiling plus service was very fast, hungry that we were…thank god for the quick service. In spite of being a busy Sunday afternoon, before I finished browsing the menu the food had already come.
My only suggestion is I wish they served more varieties of Rasam
